How long does it take to manufacture and install an awning?
Awnings are custom designed and manufactured so there is a lead time in order to have it manufactured. However, it certainly revolves around the size and complexity of the project regardless of it being a commercial or residential awning. Time of year is also a major factor. Summer is the busiest time of year; therefore, this is the perfect time of year to get your new awning or canopy.
On average commercial awnings take 4 to 8 weeks from start to finish regardless of the season. Residential awnings probably are 2 to 3 weeks this time of year and 3 to 6 weeks during the busy season.
Retractable awnings are self-storing when retracted. You can remove the outer hanging valance for storage in the winter, or you can leave it as is. Morgan Awning offers winter removal of your awning if you would prefer.
